Hello. I don't know how this system works, so I was wondering if American BA's etc. are effective in Europe as well. I want to get a business degree here [in America] but I want to live and work in Finland and wasn't sure if I had to do anything extra to make that possible. I'm sorry...I'm not sure how to word this question, but if you think you understand, your help is appreciated!!

Generally, American BAs are well respected overseas. Obviously, that will depend on where the degree is from. A Business BA from UPenn or Harvard will go a lot farther than a generic state school, but American Business Education is well regarded globally. The tougher issue is getting a work permit. You don't say whether you're American, Finnish or "Other", but that will be the determining factor. Find out ahead of time whether you'll have immigration issues before you go too far.
