Work in canada and other european countries? Hi. 1.- I´m from mexico, 2.- I speak english, spanish and french 3.- and I 21 years old. If I enter to Canada as a tourist, can I get a work permit hiring the service of a lawyer later? Can Ido that in Finland, Iceland or Ireland?

You must have skills that the company needs and that no local Canadian has. If the empoyer chooses to hire you, they must then apply to the government for permission to hire you. If and when they get permission, they can then get you a work permit. It often takes anywhere up to 1 year to get permission. And you need to stay in Mexico while you wait. So what unusual or rare skills do you have?? Are there any English speaking universities or university classes in Finland?
I am a graduate student in the US and would like to find an opportunity to study/research in Finland but I am not fluent in Finnish (I have some basic knowledge). My area of study is Communication Art. I asked this question earlier but apparently it was confusing - I am NOT asking about immigration or work visas.

No 100% English speaking universities/schools, but many universities do have English-language degree programmes, though I'm not sure if there are any for your study field. The best way is to contact all the universities one by one and ask, or look from their websites.

What do i need to do to get a work visa for Canada?
I'm a 27 year old English guy living in Finland with my 23 year old Finnish girlfriend. We both want to go over to Canada and work. But we're not sure how to go about getting the visa we need. We're not doctors or anything like that. We just like to travel. So no specialist jobs unfortunatley.

Have a skill that's in short supply? The economy is bad right now due to the USA's dollar. You have to have a good profession like medical or computer etc.

The economy is not bad here.It`s not booming like it was ,but it`s still good.There are over 850,000 people waiting to come to Canada.You need something special to offer or you do not have a chance.Immigration is getting stricter to cut down the waiting list. you need a passport and a work visa to work in a different country (i'm guessing you live elsewhere) if you get a passport and visa, be sure that you dont overstay your visa.

If you have Finish citizenship then you also have EU citizenship. As an EU citizen you can live and work in the UK legally. For the USA you have to first apply for visa work permit etc.
